Local restaurateur Frank Minear opened ATown Burgers and Brews in August, after seeing a need for a burger-style restaurant in the city.
Minear spent nine months working on a remodel of the building that ATown Burgers and Brews now calls home, which included adding all new tables, chairs and booths, painting, flooring and building a bar.
Minear focused on Alliance nostalgia for the decor — choosing black and white prints of old Alliance buildings and businesses to remind diners of yesteryear. “My overall goal is to give Alliance the crave-able experience of a delicious three-blend burger, give homage to Alliance and bring a little bit of nostalgia back but with a modern twist,” he said.
